Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is thrilled to announce a new option for families: a fully bilingual English/Spanish book collection. Families who choose this option will receive age-appropriate bilingual books every month until their child’s fifth birthday. This important update provides more access to the Imagination Library program through quality books that honor the families who make up our community.
Founded by Dolly Parton in 1995, the Imagination Library has been serving children for over thirty years. Today, her program spans five countries and gifts over 3 million books each month to children around the world. In Tulsa County, the Tulsa City-County Library serves as the local affiliate responsible for promoting Imagination Library in the community and enrolling children in the program.
Once a child enrolls in the program, they receive one free book each month until age five. These books are personalized with the child’s name and mailed directly to their home, creating a gifting experience that makes books exciting.
