Tulsa's Tech Hub has been named one of Fast Company's 2025 World Changing Ideas. The business publication's annual World Changing Ideas Awards honor the businesses and organizations that are developing creative solutions to the most pressing issues of our time.

Last year, Tulsa was designated as a “Tech Hub” by the U.S. Economic Development Administration. Led by Tulsa Innovation Labs, this designation affirms that Tulsa is a national leader in emerging advanced air mobility technology, and ensures that innovations in autonomous technologies will bring quality, accessible jobs to the greater Tulsa region.  Key partners in securing Tulsa’s Tech Hub status, a defining moment for our city, include Oklahoma State University, The University of Tulsa, Tulsa Community College, Black Tech Street, Cherokee Nation Businesses, Osage LLC, Skyway Range, TEDC Creative Capital, Madison Strategies Group, DronePort Network, Asemio, Oklahoma Manufacturing  Alliance, inTulsa, Tulsa Higher Education Consortium, Atlas School and Microsoft.

The Tech Hub is creating thousands of jobs, strengthening national security and positioning Tulsa at the forefront of the global tech landscape. A number of industries will see growth in areas like manufacturing, aerospace and defense, and energy.

By recognizing Tulsa's Tech Hub, Fast Company highlights the region's shared commitment and collaboration to create a brighter future for our community and answer the national call for American-made innovation.
