Social Services Safety Net

GKFF provides a wide array of annual grants to Tulsa-based health, education and human service organizations that provide support to those living in, or affected by, poverty. In 2011, GKFF funded more than 100 agencies through its annual social services process to provide a broad range of direct services to clients needing food, shelter, clothing, substance abuse treatment, mental health or crisis intervention, trauma or abuse counseling, education and health care. Annually, GKFF’s social services support totals approximately $7.5 million.
