Count the Costs

As the number one state in the nation for female incarceration, the overall costs are immeasurable to our children, families, communities, state and future. In response to these negative implications, Count the Costs was established as a nonpartisan, statewide effort to identify evidence-based strategies which lower the incarceration rate of women in Oklahoma, build awareness, promote innovative and effective solutions and effect change. Statewide policy groups, nonprofit organizations, key agencies, advocates and stakeholders are taking part in this effort.
